The work contains a levayah (“funeral service”) for dear and departed cat friends, as well as other material that honors the place of cats in our Jewish families and in our personal lives.

Barbara Selya is a former editor of HUC Press. Adrienne Varady is a painter and former Visual Arts Librarian for DAAP/University of Cincinnati. Aharon Varady is the founding director of the Open Siddur Project.
